1. The service
NovelForge is a writing application with optional cloud sync and backup. We provide it on a subscription basis (target $1/month) plus a free tier with limits.
2. Your account
You are responsible for keeping your credentials secure. You must be old enough to form a binding contract in your jurisdiction. One person per account unless a shared/team plan says otherwise.
3. Your content
You own your manuscripts. You grant us only the limited rights needed to store, sync, and back up your content so the service works. We do not claim ownership and do not use your writing to train AI models.
4. Acceptable use
Don't abuse the service: no unlawful content, no attempts to break security, rate limits, or other users' access, and no reselling the service without permission.
5. Subscriptions & billing
Paid plans renew until cancelled. You can cancel anytime; access continues until the end of the paid period. Prices may change with notice. Taxes may apply.
6. Availability & data
We aim for high availability and keep backups, but the service is provided "as is" without warranty of uninterrupted operation. Keep your own local copies of critical work.
7. Termination
You may delete your account at any time (30-day grace, then permanent purge). We may suspend accounts that violate these terms.
8. Changes
We may update these terms; material changes will be announced. Continued use means acceptance.
